Amount: $1,000 any income / $2,000 moderate / $3,000 low per outdoor unit (lifetime caps $6k-$9k); up to $8,000 HEAR for mobile/affordable multifamily
Income rule: Tiered: low (MaineCare/SNAP/HEAP/TANF), moderate (AGI <=$70k single / $100k joint), any income
Note: Statewide heat pump rebates open. HEAR ($8k) deployed first to mobile homes and affordable multifamily; single-family HEAR expansion not yet announced.
Heads up: the federal 25C heat-pump tax credit ended 31 Dec 2025. The amounts above are state/utility programs that remain — they're funded in limited pots and can close without notice.
